Crafter's Companion

I used lots of layers of papers from the Sweet Treats CD on my card.
I love distressing papers so they all got the treatment!!lol!!
Finally I cut a roll of lace I had in my stash for 7 years !! 
Gosh my hands were trembling lol !!!

Happy Birthday


Here is my card this week for Crafter's Companion
Hehe it didn't turn out as I started to make it !!!
I had intended to cut the circles out of the embossed piece
and use my Aqua pens to create a blue green back ground !
Mmm ......... You know I love white !!! lol
I will try again and see what I come up with next time!!

To make the card  used the following:
Embossalicious Lattice folder
Die'sire Circle and Scalloped Circle dies
A6 Clear Sentimentals - Greetings Birthday
Aqua Pen (Bud Green) (colour the stalk of the flower)

Thanks a Bunch !


Here is my card this week for Heartfelt Creations!
Oh gosh, this collection is just fabulous !!
I have enjoyed stamping and colouring all the images!

Heartfelt Creations

I realised I hadn't used the background stamp yet,
it's from the Birds and Blooms collection, how had I missed that !!!
Mmm I think it was the excitement of the fuchsia's !! lol!

Gosh I can't believe how fast the year is going by, its July next week!
And then the UK schools will break up for summer soon !!
Right best get crafting as I want to spend as much time having
fun with those girls of mine this summer !! 

Here is what I used to make the card:
HCPC-3649 Birds and Blooms Collage cling set
HCPC-3474 Heartfelt Expressions set
HCPC-3677 Blazing Poppy Stems 
TSMP900 Memento Black Ink

Other Products Used : Peeled paint, and Festive Berries Distress Markers, 
White Card, 3D foam pads, Faded Jeans Distress ink pads and blending tool,
water brush

Using white folded card cut a 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" card. Cut a piece of card 
4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and second stamp the collage stamp on the left of the card.
Stamp the poppy image over the collage stamped image. Colour the poppy
using the distress markers and water brush. Stamp the sentiment. Using
faded jeans ink add colour to the left corner of the piece of card. Adhere
this to another piece of card 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" with 3\d foam pads. Adhere both
pieces to the card with 3D foam pads and your project is complete.

Star Box


Here is my project for Crafter's Companion this week!
I made another Star box!
I LOVE this template so easy to make.

I wanted to use the FREE download papers
yes you read it right FREE!!! Lol
So I knew looking at the colours I just had to make sunflowers
to go with the cheery papers!!!

Just thinking about you


Here is another card I made for a friend.
This time it's a male friend and the papers from the Everyday Heroes 
paper pad from Heartfelt Creations were perfect for this!
Plus I had some flowers left over from my other projects!
So this was really quick to put together!

I am really enjoying this colour palette the blues and browns,
you know I reach for the pinks first !! lol !! 

The flowers are the Botanical Rose, the leaves are the classic leaf die and 
open leaf stamp set and the white swirls are from the Cut Mat Create die set

Happy Father's Day!


Here is the card I made for my Husband for Father's Day.
We are all going out for a picnic in the country.
Let's hope the sun comes out and it doesn't rain !!! lol

Here is a front on view of the card, I did a side one above
as I wanted a peek of the inner decorated too!! lol!


I used Heartfelt Creations Everyday Heroes papers 
including the sentiment cut from the paper !
The flowers are the Botanical Rose stamps and die.
The leaves are the Delightful Daisy stamp and dies.

Other Products Used : Peeled paint, and Black Soot Distress inks, 
Red ink, White and black Card, 3D foam pads, spray and sparkle iridescent, 
Spellbinders Victorian Medallion 3 die.

Using white folded card cut the Spellbinders large outer die to create a tent fold
card. Die cut another single cut and adhere to the card front. Using the two large dies
cut the detailed die cut and adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. Cut a panel from
the paper pad and stamp the sentiment. Cut a piece of black card 1/4" larger than
the panel and adhere together. Adhere to the card.  Stamp the flowers, colour shape 
and adhere together. Spray with spray and sparkle to give a glittery 
shine. Adhere the Gala Glitz in the flower centres. Stamp, colour and shape the 
leaves. Adhere the leaves and flowers to your card and your project is complete.

Using white card cut a 7" x 5" side fold card. Using paper from the pad cut two
6 3/4" x 3 3/4" pieces and distress the edges. Adhere one to the front and one
to the inner of the card. Die cut two of the Raindrop on Roses heart dies and 
adhere to the card. Cut a circle and stamp the sentiment. Adhere to the card 
and adhere pearls around the edge of the circle. Stamp the flowers, colour shape 
and adhere together. Spray with spray and sparkle to give a glittery 
shine. Adhere the Gala Glitz in the flower centres. Stamp, colour and shape the 
leaves. Adhere the leaves and flowers to your card and your project is complete.

Season's Greetings


Here is my card this week for Crafter's Companion!
A quick and easy card to make lots of in one go!!
I LOVE LOVE this snowflake die it had to be my favourite!

I used centura pearl card for the snowflake and coloured
it with ink t give a soft pearl look.

The snowflake is glued together with 3D glue to give
it dimension in between each layer.

I know it's early yet to be thinking of Christmas.....
but last year I ended up sending bought cards.....
I know !!! Too many disappointed faces 
so I thought I'd get on early this year !!

To make this card I used:
3D Glue

Others: Silver string, gems, Faded Jeans Distress Ink

Thinking about you


Thought I would share this card I made for my friend with you.
I know it arrived safe so I am safe sharing it now !! lol

These are my favourite papers from the Birds and Blooms paper pad
from Heartfelt Creations and I now have no more !!
Yes I used my best papers !! lol!! 

I made the flowers a little different to how I made these before.
I used the same size die cuts on top of each other, 
than decreasing ones. It gives a very different flower!

The flowers are the Botanical Rose from Heartfelt Creations
as is the stamp and the flower centres.
I used ColorBox Berryliscious and Harvest chalk inks for the flowers.

Get well Soon


Last week over at Splitcoast Stampers I was very honoured
to have been chosen to be Featured Stamper of the week.
We had so much fun! I was very honoured to have been chosen.
So this week I thought I would join in the fun !

This week Cary Davies is the featured stamper.
I cased this card of hers, click on it to take you to her blog.


I changed the vellum behind the card to two distressed layers 
on top of the card and the sentiment onto the layers.
I also decorated the inner to co-ordinate.

I used Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppy collection papers,
stamps and dies on my card. The sentiment is from the 
Heartfelt Sentiments cling set.

A field of Poppies


Here is my second card this week with the new Blazing Poppies from Heartfelt Creations!
Oooh I am loving these ! I have had great fun scrunching and making the flowers
and colouring up the stamped images. 
I love colouring with my waterbrush and this time I used Distress markers with it.

Would you believe this card started out life as a box !!! 
Hehe I cut and coloured four of these images to make a box with
and this is what happened !!! lol!! 

I decorated the inner with the lovely corner poppy stamp.
It was only after I had made the card I thought about this, I think it adds 
a little bit of sunshine to the inner too!

To make the card I used the following:
HCPC-3678 Blazing Poppy Fillers Cling set
HCPC-3675 Poppy Corner and Border Cling set
159723 Art Institute Glue
TSMP900 Memento Black Ink

Other Products Used : Peeled paint, and Festive Berries Distress Markers, 
White and black Card, 3D foam pads, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint Distress
ink pads, Spellbinders Mystical Embrace Die, water brush

Using white folded card cut the Spellbinders die to create a tent fold card. 
Die cut another single cut and adhere to the card front. Cut a piece of white
card 4 14/16" x 2 9/16" and adhere in the centre of the card. Cut a balck piece
of card 2 6/16" x 4 11/16" and adhere to the card. Cut a white piece of card 
2 4/16" x 4 9/16" and stamp the image on it.Colour the flowers with the distress
markers and your water brush. Gently using a finger dauber rub Peeled paint ink
along the bottom for a grass effect. Do the same with the Faded Jeans ink pad
along the top fr a sky effect. Adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. For the 
inner cut a piece of black card 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" and adhere to the card. Using 
white card cut a piece of card 4 1/8" x 2 1/8" and stamp the image on the corner.
Colour with the markers and gently rub Faded Jeans ink around it. Adhere to the 
card and your project is complete.

Using white card cut a 6" x 6" tent fold card. Cut a 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" piece of 
red card and distress the edges. Using a panel from the paper pad cut it to
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and distress the edges. Mat and layer the papers and adhere to
the card. Stamp the image and colour using ink pads and a waterbrush. Die cut
the image and the larger decorative element. Adhere together with 3D foam pads
and adhere to the card. Stamp the arrow and sentiment and die cut. Stamp the flowers,
colour shape and adhere together. Spray with spray and sparkle to give a glittery 
shine. Adhere the Gala Glitz in the flower centres. Stamp, colour and shape the 
leaves. Adhere the leaves, flowers and sentiment to your card and your project is 
complete.

Star Box

HCPC-3545 Open Leaf Stamp set
HCD1-736 Classic Leaf Die

TSMP800 Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad

Other Products Used : Antique Linen, Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Ink, 
glitter glue, beads, white card, craft knife.

Cut a tent fold card 5 1/4" x 3 14/16". Cut two card fronts from the paper pad.
Adhere one to the inner of the card. Stamp the sentiment on the other and cut
out the layers with a craft knife. Adhere the outer layer to the card. Adhere
the next with 3D foam pads and then the inner with double layered foam pads for
height. Die cut the leaf swirl from the Cut Mat Create set and cut into three
sections. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the flowers and leaves. Adhere beads into
the centre of the flowers. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card and the leaf
swirls and your project is complete.

Gift Bag


Here is my second project this week for Heartfelt Creations.
I was inspired to make these flowers by my friend Angie Ekema.
I saw her amazing flowers using Broken China and Antique Linen distress inks
and I was just taken by how well the colours went together!
So ....... here are mine in the same colours and wow they go so 
well with the Everyday Heroes papers !!! 
Normally I choose my paper than do my flowers, this time was different!
Tomorrow I have a card to go with this too to share !

To make this bag I used:
HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
HCD1-757 Leafy Branch Die
HCPC-3645 Leaft Branch Cling set
HCDP1-253 Everyday Heroes Paper Pad
HCD1-758 Botanical Wings Die
HCPC-3651 Botanical Rose Cling Stamp
TSMP800 Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad
159723 Art Institute Glue


Other Products Used : Antique Linen, Broken China and Peeled Paint Distress Ink, 
glitter glue, Gift bag template, Pearl gems, beads, self adhesive
velcro dots.

Draw around the template and cut out of paper from the paper pad. Score, fold and
adhere the template together. Stamp, cut, colour and shape the flowers and leaves.
Adhere beads into the centre of the flowers. Cut a border strip from the paper and
adhere around the bag base. Adhere pearl gems around the base of the bag. Adhere
the flowers and leaves to the bag. Glitter the flower and border patterns, Secure 
the velcro dots so that the bag holds shut and your project is complete.

Here is my card for Heartfelt Creations this week.
I wasn't sure how this was going to end up when I sat down to make it!
I had an idea about the flowers and leaves
but it was't until I got all my dies out that the card took shape!!

Here is what I used to make my card:
HCST1-401 Flower Shaping Kit
HCD1-757 Leafy Branch Die
HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Cling set
HCD2-751 Cut Mat Create 2B Die set
HCPC 3596 Celebrate the Journey Sentiments
HCD 744 Once Upon a Time die
159723 Art Institute Glue
TSMP900 Memento Black Ink

Other Products Used : Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint Distress Ink, White Card,
gems, 3D foam pads, ribbon, Spellbinders Royal Circle Die.

Cut an A6 side fold card. Cut a piece of card 5 10/16" x 4" cut another piece
5 1/2" x 3 3/4" and adhere together with 3D foam pads. Adhere ribbon around the
pieces and then adhere to the card with 3D foam pads. Die cut the small die from
the Royal Circle die set and ink the edges. Stamp the sentiment and die cut, and
ink the edges. Adhere the sentiment to the die cut and adhere to the card. Die cut
the leaf swirls and colour with inks. Stamp, cut and colour the flowers. Shape the
flowers and add a gem into the centre. Adhere the leaf swirl (cut into sections) and
the flowers to the card and your project is complete.

Wedding card


Here is my card this week for Crafter's Companion.
As you can see I got my sticky little hands on the new Edge'ables dies !
Shh I raced to the letter box when the postie came so hubby didn't see!! lol!

I thought this would make a nice wedding card.
